Budget for Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2012
LAFCO is preparing its budget for the uncoming fiscal year.  The budget process involves two public hearings, first to consider a proposed budget, and a second hearing to consider a final budget.  The proposed budget was first considered at a public hearing on March 7, 2012 LAFCO:

Water Policies
On February 2, 2011, LAFCO amended its policies concerning water supply and water resources.  Note that the water policies are not isolated in a single policy doucment, but rather are incorporated into three sets of pre-existing policy documents.

Protest Thresholds
If LAFCO approves an annexation or other boundary change application, the state law provides a period in which voters and property owners within the affected area may file written protest with the LAFCO Executive Officer. To see a flow chart of the protest process, click:
